We are currently seeking someone to fill the role of Credit Specialist. This position will oversee a portfolio of customer accounts (Approximately 500 active accounts) and report directly to the Corporate Credit Manager.

Job Requirements

  • Manage accounts to ensure compliance with company’s credit and collection policies, practices and procedures.

  • Manages and maintains account relationships, reconciliation of customer’s accounts, initiate collection calls, process credit cards and approve credit releases.

  • Ensures proper follow-up of delinquent accounts

  • Oversees monitoring of account exposures and aging accounts and determines action to be taken on delinquent accounts, such as putting account on hold and authorizing liens

Job Requirements

  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial statements.

  • Ability to interact with all levels of management

  • Proficient in MS Office

  • Ability to work independently and multi-task

  • Capacity to identify and communicate problematic collection issues to upper management in a timely fashion

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.

  • 1+ years’ experience in Credit /Collections or Customer service (entry level position)

  • Bi-lingual /Spanish preferred

Position is located at the Branch Support Center located in Stafford, TX.
